Insurance

We are not accepting medical insurance but can provide you with a receipt or statement of services for your insurance. We accept FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) or HSA (Health Savings Accounts). 

 

We also accept Motor Vehicle Accident insurance but require Personal Injury Protection. A doctor's massage prescription and benefits verification is required before services are scheduled. Please call for more information.

L&I Injury Treatment Massage allows up to 6 massages with a doctor's referral. Please inquire for more information to book your massage.

  • The Massage Studio Gift Certificates

  • The Massage Studio does not honor multiple discounts or coupons for treatments done on the same day. We will gladly redeem leftover coupons at your next visit. Gift Certificates are non-refundable and have an expiration date of one year from the month of purchase.

  • Sorry, Discover cards are not accepted at this time.

24-hour Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. This allows us time to reschedule the appointment time. Failing to cancel within 24 hours may require pre-payment for future services.

Refund Policies
Due to the nature of our business, no refund will be given for the services provided. We do not perform any techniques out of the scope of our practice. If we are unable to provide a specific treatment or service needed, we have an outstanding referral network.  All of our spa services are non-refundable. However, if you are dissatisfied with your service– let us know!

Pre-paid appointments with adequate notice will be refunded within one business day.

What happens if I'm late to my appointment? 

The Massage Studio has a set schedule, and other guests follow your appointment. If you are late to your appointment, your appointment may be shortened. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you based on what our schedule allows.

When booking your appointment, notify your spa professional of the following:

  • Known allergies

  • Special health care needs/concerns

  • If pregnant, advise how many weeks/doctor’s written permission

  • MASSAGE: To get the most out of your treatment, communication is important! Please let us know if there are any specific treatment goals or needs at any time before or during your massage.

  • WAX APPOINTMENTS: 

  • EXPECTING MOTHERS: If you are receiving massage in your first trimester, please note that for high-risk pregnancies only, having an approval note prepared by your doctor before you come in for your massage is recommended. When booking your massage or facial, please notify our staff of any areas of sensitivity or if you’ve been sensitive to any particular smells or products while pregnant. The Massage Studio offers extra pillows, wedges, and padding to ensure you are comfortable. NOTE: For safety reasons, The Massage Studio does not offer hot stone massages to expecting mothers.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable.  No exceptions.

 

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in the service costs at The Massage Studio. Tips may be left with your Esthetician/Therapist. Tips can be added to any credit card payment (Visa or MC). All tips are appreciated  Leaving 15-20% is customary for all service industry providers
